Jeff Katz

Jeffrey Katz is a founding partner of KBK Law Group. Upon graduation from Johnson & Wales University, He spent the first decade and a half of his career in foodservice gaining knowledge and insight by overseeing the concessions operation for Aramark at Citizens Bank Park for two seasons before taking over as the Assistant General Manager of the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C., and then a district manager for Starbucks Coffee Company.

Being responsible for retail operations with annual revenues that exceeded fifty million dollars as well as negotiating multiple labor agreements with union leadership for thousands of employees helped build the foundational skills as he transitioned into the field of law. Upon receiving his J.D. from Drexel Universities Thomas R. Kline School of Law he became a solo practitioner mainly representing small landlords and tenants while honing skills specifically to real estate transactional law issues. Jeffrey was able to combine the skills learned from both careers and began building a business more focused on property owners and management companies, advising and counseling through mergers, major litigation, and sales and acquisition of real estate throughout the Philadelphia region. He has been a partner in two previous firms prior to his role with KBK and has a long history of working with both his current partners, Adam and Susan.
